textured look : Apply to wet hair, shortest layers first.

curls and waves: Apply to wet hair, twirling into each ringlet, starting at bottom of head.

sleek look : Use to slick back loose hairs (wet or dry hair) and fly-aways. Also, can apply at hairline to keep hair away from face.

hold or volume: Apply to roots and/or crown.
